Please note applications for Summer 2024 and Fall/Academic 2024-25 opened January 15, 2024 and fill quickly, we suggest applying as soon as possible!


Construction Notice

A new student housing building project commences January 2024 directly across from the current student housing building. It is expected that the construction activities associated with the project will result in increased noise levels relative to existing conditions. 


Payment Information

  • You will be required to pay a non-refundable application fee of $50.00 online in order for your application to be considered complete for review.
  • Our online Housing Portal currently accepts the following forms of payment:
    • Visa, MasterCard or AMEX
  • All Housing Fees must be paid in full prior to move-in by the fee deadline. For more information on fees, please click here.
  • Alternate method of payment:
    • International students may also use Convera. Please email housing@ufv.ca that you have made your payment through Convera.
  • Please note that fees are subject to change without prior notice.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFORE STARTING YOUR APPLICATION

  • We strive to review applications within 30 days.
  • Room offers are sent to the email you use to login. Please make note of this if you update your login information.
  • In order to live in housing, students must be enrolled full-time in at least 6 credits/semester.
  • Submitting an application and paying the $50 application fee does not confirm a room. Housing Operations will review your application.
    • Room offers are sent to eligible applicants on a first-come, first-served basis to the email address listed on your application, if there is a room available. Note: failure to follow instructions or make payments by the deadline will result in cancellation of an offer.
    • If we do not have a room available, you will receive an email indicating you have been placed on the waitlist.
  • The length of stay for a contract is stated in the contract/handbook, please read carefully.

Guest Housing

Please note that short- and long-term guest housing (non-student) is operated through UFV Conference Services, please do not request accommodation here.
